Candle Care

Before Burning
Remove all packaging.

Inspect your candle, and do not use if glass is cracked or damaged.

Place candle on a level heat protected surface which is away from anything that may catch fire.

Ensure the room is well ventilated and is away from draughts. Draughts can cause sooting, flickering flames and uneven burning.

Trim the candle wick to 5mm.

If the candle is crystal topped remove before burning.

How To Burn Your Candle
The first time you burn your candle, make sure you light it long enough for the entire surface to melt.

Burning for less than that will result in the candle tunnelling and there will be a build-up of wax around the inside of the container.

Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Burning for too long can cause too much heat and the container may crack.

If the wick moves when burning, extinguish the candle and once it has cooled, centre and straighten the wick. If this continues discard the candle.

If the flame becomes too high or if it smokes or flickers extinguish the candle with a snuffer immediately.

Do not move candle when it is lit as the glass will be hot.

Please use with caution when handling.

Wick Care
Trim the wick before every burn. This will ensure you get the best out of your candle.

The wick should be no longer than 5mm before every burn.

Before each burn ensure that there are no wick trimmings or debris in the wax as this can act as a secondary wick and ignite which is dangerous.

Extinguishing Your Candle
Use a snuffer to put out the flame.

Never use liquid to extinguish a candle.

Do not burn the candle wax right down to the bottom of the jar. Stop burning when 1cm of wax remains.

Never leave a lit candle unattended.

Diffuser Care

About Reed Diffusers
Reed diffusers are a fabulous way to fragrance any room and are very simple to use. The reeds soak up the product and diffuse the fragrance along their entire length, releasing fragrance into the air.

Reed Diffuser Instructions
Remove outer packaging.

Inspect the reed diffuser, and do not use if glass is cracked or damaged.

Place the reed diffuser on a coaster to keep any product from damaging the surfaces.

Unscrew the cap from the bottle, and carefully remove the safety plug and screw the cap back on.

Place the reeds into the bottle and space them out evenly.

Leave the reeds to soak in the diffuser for one hour. After the first hour, carefully flip the reeds. Use gloves when handling used reeds.

For best results flip the reeds every 3 – 6 days taking care not to spill the product.

If you would like more fragrance in the room, increase the number of reeds used. If you would like less, remove a reed.

The reed diffuser will last between 2 – 3 months depending on the air conditions it is placed in.

It is recommended to replace the reeds every 6 months.
